At Ultimate Shellfish Gauge, we believe that protecting our fisheries starts with accurate measurement.

Growing up in South Florida, we spent countless days on the water fishing, lobstering, and enjoying the incredible marine resources that make our state so special. Those experiences gave us a deep appreciation for both the traditions of recreational harvesting and the responsibility that comes with preserving these resources for future generations.

That passion led us to design the Ultimate Shellfish Gauge—a durable, precision-made tool that helps recreational and commercial harvesters measure with confidence while staying compliant with state regulations. Every gauge is manufactured with accuracy as the top priority because even small measurement differences can have a significant impact on sustainable fisheries and conservation efforts. We are proud that the Ultimate Shellfish Gauge has has been selected for use by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and is used by several law enforcement agencies throughout Florida. We are also proud that the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) uses our gauge designed specifically for South Carolina regulations.

While these agencies do not endorse commercial products, they rely on accurate measuring tools to enforce regulations. We are honored that our gauges meet the standards required for that purpose.
